The Vert Lodge experience

What kind of place is Vert Lodge?

Vert Lodge is a relaxed, social mountain lodge beside Lac des Gaillands in Chamonix. We offer private rooms, shared accommodation and a lively neighbourhood bar and restaurant. Our focus is affordable stays, good company and helping people experience Chamonix.

Is Vert Lodge a good choice for solo travellers?

Yes. Choose a dorm, pod bed or private room, then join locals and fellow travellers in the bar and restaurant. Shared spaces and activities such as pool competitions give you opportunities to meet people, swap plans and share stories from the mountains.

Can hotel guests meet local people at Vert Lodge?

Absolutely. Locals make up a large part of our bar and restaurant community. We want visitors, seasonnaires and local people to mix. Ask the bar team what is happening during your stay.

Is Vert Lodge lively in the evenings?

Our social bar and restaurant are part of the experience. Outdoor music stops by 22:00, and we expect everyone to respect fellow guests and neighbours after that time. If quiet is a particular priority, contact us before booking to discuss your needs.
